Why Emeryville City Council?
I was unanimously appointed to the Emeryville City Council in February, 2023. It is an honor and privilege to serve the city that is my home for 15 years. Public service and volunteerism are cultural and generational values that enrich my life experience. I find it fulfilling to contribute to meaningful solutions on the issues of climate change, resiliency, land use, allocation of limited resources, public health and safety, and nurturing community spirit. To help create a sustainable, safe, equitable city and an engaged community strengthened by diversity and mutual respect is a rewarding outlet for my professional skills and personal abilities and inclination.

Law school is a lesson in the analysis of legislation, policy, and justice. I developed my research skills in law school and while clerking at the California Department of Justice. I use my experience, research skills and analytical abilities to help frame well-informed policies for our city's collective welfare.
I have helped raise corporate funds for San Francisco City Impact which works relentlessly to uplift the families in the Tenderloin district of San Francisco. I help sponsor the education of children going to school in the Tenderloin District and also directly contribute to it. Education is the key to uplifting a community. Health and wellbeing are also causes that I have helped advance through Team in Training by running sponsored marathons for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Additionally, I have served my community as an elected Director on the Board of Directors of my HOA.
